Welcome to my Panasonic journey. Working with Panasonic has been a uniquely rewarding experience , markedly different from the more than 600 organizations I’ve collaborated with over the years.

I’ve always preferred programs that allow direct collaboration with an organization’s internal security team rather than anonymous bug-bounty platforms that force you through long, impersonal processes. With Panasonic, that direct collaboration is exactly what makes the work so engaging. When I report a vulnerability, the security team reviews it thoroughly, validates it, and then confirms it as a legitimate issue. They follow through with remediation and even send a Certificate of Appreciation , encouragement that motivates me to keep hunting and helping.

Every vulnerability I’ve reported was hosted on a different domain, which meant working with Panasonic security teams across the globe , from Singapore to Japan and beyond. Each engagement introduced me to new people, new workflows, and new learning opportunities. Recently I reached a milestone of 20 reported vulnerabilities. Some issues required us to coordinate with the third-party vendor that built the affected site; other times multiple team members joined together to review and propose remediation. 

Panasonic’s Vulnerability Disclosure Program is structured, professional, and global , and that structure is what makes the program enjoyable and effective. Unlike companies that thank you once and move on, Panasonic’s team stays engaged and invests in seeing issues through until they are resolved. That commitment has made me proud to help protect their systems and users.
